The year 2022 gave Bollywood one of the largest cinema producers in the entire world, quite a bit of both – joy as well as a sense of worry, as Bollywood is looking forward to welcoming another packed year- 2023.
The Indian film fraternity recovered soon even after facing the downfall during the Covid-19 pandemic. Where many other entertainment industries could not produce a good number of films, Bollywood came with a good number of film releases. The stories that were presented on the silver screen differed from narrator to narrator and some were just brilliant in their piece of storytelling.
The year 2022 proved to be a little worrisome for the Indian film industry as well, as it faced multiple challenges from the Southern Film Industry. Numerous South releases outdid Bollywood on many fronts including storytelling, scale, larger-than-life characters, performances and nuances by artists, and in the overall presentation of the film as a whole.
