Lin Laishram, a Manipuri actress who has appeared in a number of Bollywood films including ‘Om Shanti Om,’ ‘Mary Kom,’ ‘Rangoon,’ and others, was recently spotted on social media breaking down over the violence in her home state.
It all started with the high court’s judgement to include Meiteis in the Scheduled Tribes list, which was delivered to the Manipur administration.
With each passing day, the protests have become more violent, and the administration has now issued shoot-at-sight orders to quell the unrest in the state.
