New Delhi: The Karnataka Congress has mocked state minister R Ashoka by sharing pics where he is apparently sleeping during a meeting.
The official Twitter handle of the Karnataka Congress shared pictures of R Ashoka, where he could be seen with his eyes shut during a meeting to review the flood situation in the state.
"There are many types of drowning. People of the state are drowned in rain. The minister is drowning in his sleep," the tweet in Kannada read.
On Monday, R Ashoka also shared pictures from the flood review meeting which was headed by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Many districts in Karnataka, including the capital Bengaluru, are facing a flood-like situation due to continuous heavy rains. CM Bommai said the government decided to release Rs 300 crore to manage the flood situation in Bengaluru.
