Where does the pain occur in liver cancer?
In the early stages of liver cancer, pain is felt in the upper right side of the stomach. This pain may persist continuously or flare up occasionally. Sometimes, it may also spread to the back or shoulder.
Other symptoms of liver cancer:
•Persistent fatigue
•Unexplained weight loss
•Loss of appetite
•Jaundice (yellowing of skin and eyes)
•Swelling or heaviness in the stomach
•Frequent nausea or vomiting
Causes that increase the risk of liver cancer:
•Prolonged alcohol consumption
•Hepatitis B and C infection
•Fatty liver problem
•Obesity and poor diet
•Smoking and unhealthy lifestyle
Ways to prevent liver cancer:
•Avoid alcohol and smoking
•Eat a balanced and healthy diet
•Get regular liver check-ups
•Take the Hepatitis B vaccine
•Maintain a healthy weight and exercise daily
