Drs warns that frequent sanitizer use harms skin; advocates soap and water as gentler, more effective hygiene method.

Drs explains that natural oil and beneficial bacteria are destroyed due to excessive dependent on alcohol-based sanitizers. This can cause problems like dryness, cracks, irritation and even eczema or dermatitis.
Instead, experts emphasize that washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is the most soft and effective method. Soap not only neutralizes germs, but also physically wash the dirt-it also without a sanitizer.
