G20 Summit: Pro-Khalistan Graffiti Discovered at Delhi Metro Stations

In the days leading up to the G20 Summit, pro-Khalistan slogans were discovered written on the walls of at least five Delhi Metro stations, according to the police. On September 9 and 10, the nation’s capital will host the G20 meeting.

More than 30 heads of state and other high-ranking representatives from the European Union, invited guest nations, and 14 leaders of international organizations are anticipated to attend.

Delhi Police was quoted by news agency ANI as saying, “Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) also released raw footage of Delhi Metro stations that were defaced with pro-Khalistan slogans.” From Shivaji Park to Punjabi Bagh, “suspected SFJ activists defaced multiple Metro stations in Delhi with pro-Khalistan slogans.”

In order to stop the spread of rumours and inflammatory information, identify criminal groups, and concentrate on security at malls, markets, and religious sites in the city, Delhi Police is keeping an eye on social media in the run-up to the G20 summit.

According to Delhi Police, all access points into the national capital will be sealed off to prevent unauthorized entry, although regular vehicular and pedestrian traffic will still be permitted.

There will be 130 ambulances and 80 doctor teams available to respond to medical emergencies throughout the summit. 60 deputy commissioners of police (DCPs) have been given specific assignments pertaining to the summit, Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena was recently briefed during a review meeting.
