Remi Lucidi, French adventurer and extreme sports enthusiast, known by his online name Remi Enigma, met with a tragic accident that claimed his life. The 30-year-old fell from the 68th floor of a residential building in Hong Kong while attempting to climb it.
Lucidi entered the Tregunter Tower complex and claimed he was going to visit a friend on the 40th floor. However, the supposed friend denied knowing him, and when the security guard tried to intervene, Lucidi had already made his way to the 49th floor and further climbed up the stairs to the roof. A search following his disappearance found his camera containing footage of his daring stunts, but the official cause of his death is yet to be determined.
Lucidi, who was on vacation in Hong Kong and staying at a hostel, was described as a friendly, humble, and physically fit person by the hostel owner. His fans expressed deep sorrow and shock on social media, mourning the loss of a fellow explorer.
The tragic incident has left the extreme sports community in mourning, and Remi Lucidi’s untimely passing has cast a shadow over the world of adventure and daring pursuits.
