The registration procedure for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate test has not yet begun. A false notice and timetable for the NEET PG 2024 test have gone viral on social media channels. The phony NEET PG 2024 states that registration would commence on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
The false announcement said that students can submit application forms until January 20, 2024. The phony circular also has the NEET PG 2024 registration date, entrance examination result date, and notification schedule.
The National Chairman of the Federation of All Indian Medical Association (FAIMA), Dr. Rohan Krishanan, has acknowledged that the notification spreading on social media is fake.
He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and said that the notice was fake. He requested students not to trust WhatsApp and Telegram notices and to wait for the official order and Notice on the NBE website only, which will be out soon.
“We should wait till Thursday/ Friday. Dates will be confirmed in the notice. Requesting @NbeIndia @MoHFW_INDIA @NMC_IND @mansukhmandviya ji to kindly confirm the dates in fast-track approach. Aspirants to relax and trust only website of Nbe,” Dr Rohan added.
The false circular floating on social media stated that the NEET PG 2024 examination will be held on March 3, 2024. It will be held on a computer-based platform at several locations around the country. According to the false circular, the NEET PG results would be announced on March 24, 2024.
NEET PG 2024 Exam Date
According to the NBEMS exam timetable, the NEET PG test is set for March 3, 2024. However, the NEET PG 2024 test was postponed. The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences has set the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Postgraduate examination for July 7, this year. The cut-off date for eligibility is August 15.
The NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination that has been designated as the single entrance examination for admission to different MD/MS and PG diploma courses by the National Medical Commission Act of 2019. Currently, the NEET PG registration date has not been given. However, it is likely that the application process would start in May or June.
