Thank God: Ajay Devgn’s first look as Chitragupt revealed

Ajay Devgn shared the first look poster of his upcoming film Thank God. Indra Kumar directed film will also star Siddharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh.

Mumbai: Actor Ajay Devgn seems ready to treat his fans with a grand release on Diwali. He has shared a poster of his upcoming film Thank God which will also star Siddharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh on social media. ‘Drishyam’ actor’s regal avatar in the poster has left fans super excited.

Ajay Devgn took to Instagram to share the Thank God poster and introduced his character ‘Chitragupt’. The ‘Bhuj’ actor is looking debonaire donning an all-black outfit along with an intense look. He is seen sitting on a massive golden throne and the first look seems quite grabbing.

“This Diwali, Chitragupt is coming to play the game of life with you and your family. #ThankGod trailer out tomorrow. In cinemas on October 25,” he wrote on Instagram.

It was last year in January that Ajay Devgn took to his social media to announce the film Thank God, a slice-of-life comedy. 

Directed by Indra Kumar, Thank God is touted as a slice of life film. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit and Markand Adhikari and co-produced by Yash Shah.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rakul talked about the film and said, “It's comedy and (has) a lot of emotion. I just happened to see the film about two weeks back and I walked out with the feeling that we really wanted the audience to go through (it). It touches your heart, and it's like a Munnabhai-(MBBS)-meets-Oh-My-God space; not that it's got anything to do with that but that's the space. I think it's entertaining and I think people will hopefully go to the theaters to watch it”.
