Elon Musk Endorses Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy as ‘Promising Candidate’ in US Presidential Polls

It appears that Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy, a 37-year-old biotech entrepreneur, has gained prominence in the Republican race for the 2024 US presidential polls. He received a significant endorsement from billionaire Elon Musk, who referred to him as a “very promising candidate” on a platform similar to Twitter, now called X. This endorsement came after Ramaswamy’s interview with journalist Tucker Carlson, during which he discussed the “void” he aims to address in American politics.

In his interview, Ramaswamy highlighted his perspective that the US government and establishment have lost trust in their citizens’ ability to handle the truth. He emphasized the need for change and his commitment to filling the gap he perceives in American politics.

Tucker Carlson, a former Fox News primetime host, also praised Ramaswamy after the interview, stating that he is well-versed in policy and stands out as one of the best-versed voices he has engaged with.

Ramaswamy’s campaign message is distinct, as he openly expresses his Hindu faith and seeks to align his Hindu values with the Judeo-Christian foundation that the US is built upon. This positioning has allowed him to establish a unique presence within the Republican party, which has traditionally been associated with evangelical Christian values.

It’s worth noting that Ramaswamy is not the first Indian-American to challenge former President Donald Trump in the run-up to the 2024 elections. He joins a group of Indian-American candidates who are making an impact in the Republican primary race.
