Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child. They announced her pregnancy in February 2024. According to rumors, Deepika is currently in her second trimester. The famous couple married in 2018. Her due date is September 2024.
On Thursday, Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy via a post. The post said “September 2024,” and had lovely images of baby clothes, shoes, and balloons.
Previously, there was suspicion that Deepika Padukone was pregnant. These rumors arose from reports that she concealed her pregnancy belly while wearing a beautiful saree at the 77th British Academy Film Awards. Deepika Padukone wore a couture saree and Sabyasachi Mukherjee-designed jewellery.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’. They dated for five years before getting married in November 2018.
When questioned about being a mom, Deepika smiled and told Vogue, “Absolutely.” Ranveer and I adore children. We look forward to the day when we can start our own family.”
She further added, “When I meet the people I have grown up with—my aunts, uncles, family friends—they always mention how I haven’t changed one bit. That says a lot about our upbringing. In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children.”
Deepika was most recently seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster ‘Jawan’. She will soon be featured in ‘Singham Again’, directed by Rohit Shetty. She will share the screen with Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor, among others.
