UPSC Launches Pratibha Setu to Connect Top Exam Qualifiers with Employers

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has launched Pratibha Setu, a new initiative designed to provide job opportunities to high-performing candidates who cleared all stages of various UPSC exams but did not make the final merit list. This platform allows these candidates to register and connect with verified employers from both the government and private sectors, offering them a valuable second chance at recruitment.

Pratibha Setu, previously known as the Public Disclosure Scheme since 2018, has been revamped to broaden its reach and impact. The scheme currently includes over 10,000 candidates from exams such as the Civil Services, Engineering Services, Indian Forest Service, Central Armed Police Forces, Combined Medical Services, and others. These candidates, though not selected in the final interview stage, have demonstrated strong merit across all examination phases.

Employers interested in hiring from this talent pool can register on the Pratibha Setu portal. Once verified, they gain access to the candidates’ biodata, including their qualifications and contact details, enabling direct recruitment. UPSC provides employers with secure login credentials to browse through the database. This initiative ensures that UPSC’s top-performing aspirants are not overlooked and that qualified individuals find suitable career pathways, supporting both candidates eager to work and employers seeking skilled professionals.
