Trump’s threat to impose a 20–25% tariff on goods coming from India had no impact on the Indian stock market on Wednesday. The market opened on a strong note. The BSE Sensex opened 256 points higher at 81,594, while the NSE Nifty-50 was seen trading 69 points up at 24,980.

Stocks to Watch
Today, investors will be keeping an eye on Tata Steel, Power Grid, IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation), and Hyundai Motor Company, as all are set to announce their quarterly results. Additionally, NSDL, the country's oldest depository company, launched its IPO today. The IPO size is ₹1,300 crore, and the company has already raised ₹1,201 crore from anchor investors on Tuesday.

Mixed Trend in Asian Markets
Asian markets showed a mixed trend on Wednesday due to ongoing uncertainty over U.S. tariffs. Japan’s Nikkei index declined slightly, while the Topix showed modest gains. South Korean markets were positive, but Hong Kong's market declined, and China’s Shanghai Composite saw a small gain.
