Resham Tipnis Slams False Rumours About Son’s Death, Confirms He Is Safe
Actress Resham Tipnis, known for her roles in Baazigar alongside Shah Rukh Khan and classic sitcoms like Tu Tu Main Main and Shrimaan Shrimati, as well as her work in Marathi cinema, has strongly condemned false rumors circulating about her son's death. The confusion began after reports surfaced about a 14-year-old boy—reportedly the son of a well-known television actress—dying by suicide after jumping from a high-rise building.
The child, a Class 9 student, was said to be living with his mother on the 51st floor of the Sea Brook residential tower. This led to baseless speculation that the boy was Resham Tipnis' son. Addressing the rumors, the actress took to social media to set the record straight, writing: “Please ignore this. Somebody is spreading fake news about my son Manav. He is fine and healthy by Bappa’s blessings. But whoever has done this is going behind bars. If anyone can help me find them, please comment.”
Her post reassured fans that her son is safe and well. Tipnis also voiced her anger over the misinformation and stated that she plans to take legal action against those responsible for spreading the false claim.
The speculation arose following a tragic incident in Kandivali West on Wednesday evening involving a teenager. Reports initially claimed the boy was the only child of a divorced actress living apart from her husband. Investigators are currently speaking with the boy’s mother, school staff, and acquaintances to understand if the child had been under any emotional distress. While the case remains under investigation, Tipnis' clarification has brought relief to concerned fans and put to rest the rumors involving her family.
