Raid 2 Box Office: Ajay Devgn’s Thriller Crosses ₹108 Crore in 10 Days
Despite a string of underwhelming box office performances from recent Bollywood films, Raid 2 starring Ajay Devgn has emerged as a notable exception. Within just 10 days of its release, the film has amassed ₹108.75 crore in India and a global gross of ₹137.8 crore. On its second Saturday, the movie saw a positive surge, collecting ₹8 crore, according to data from trade tracker Sacnilk.
Though Raid 2 has outperformed recent titles like Sunny Deol’s Jaat and Akshay Kumar’s Kesari 2, it still trails behind Devgn’s earlier hit Shaitaan, which had earned ₹1.75 crore more at the same stage. Nevertheless, Raid 2 has clearly done better than his previous release, Azaad.
The film recorded a nationwide occupancy of 21.11% on Saturday, playing in 4,185 shows. Chennai led with a strong 51% occupancy from 31 shows, followed by Bengaluru at 31.5% (216 shows) and Pune at 31% (294 shows). Mumbai and Delhi-NCR saw moderate attendance with 22% and 19% occupancy, respectively.
Despite the heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, the film’s audience turnout remains stable. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and jointly produced by Panorama Studios and T-Series, Raid 2 also features Vaani Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, and Saurabh Shukla in key roles. The film hit theatres on May 1, 2025.
