Prime Minister Narendra Modi has commenced a significant 5-nation tour from July 2 to 9, with the aim of strengthening Global South ties and advancing strategic partnerships across continents. The tour includes stops in Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia regions critical to India’s vision of collaborative global development. These visits reinforce India’s commitment to bilateral cooperation with emerging economies of the Global South.

In Argentina, there will be subjects such as Prime Minister Modi's discussions with President Xavier Milli, such as trade, agriculture, important minerals and technology, which are in line with India's strategic partnership interests in Latin America. At the same time, the Brazilian trip will conclude from 5 to 8 July at the BRICS summit held at Rio de Janeiro.
