Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan following last month's Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan's Ambassador to Russia, Muhammad Khalid Jamali, has openly threatened India, stating that Islamabad would use "the full spectrum of power," including nuclear weapons, if India launches an attack. In an interview with RT, Jamali claimed that leaked documents suggested India was planning strikes on specific areas in Pakistan, making an imminent conflict seem likely.

He emphasized that Pakistan would not engage in debates over military strength but would use both conventional and nuclear power if provoked. Jamali stated that the armed forces, backed by the people of Pakistan, would respond decisively.

Earlier, Pakistani minister Hanif Abbasi had also warned India of nuclear retaliation, highlighting Pakistan's missile arsenal and nuclear warheads. He specifically mentioned the possibility of war if India halted Pakistan’s water supply by suspending the Indus Waters Treaty.

Additionally, another minister, Ataullah Tarar, claimed that Pakistan had credible intelligence about a potential Indian military strike within 24 to 36 hours, vowing a strong response to any act of aggression. These remarks followed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s orders to grant the Indian military "complete operational freedom" in response to the Pahalgam attack.
