For the last two weeks, life seems to have been trapped in an endless vibration in the Tokara islands in remotely in Japan. This small island group located in southwest Japan has so far caused more than 900 earthquakes. Although most of these earthquakes have been low, the frequent tremors have had a profound impact on the mental peace of the islands.
The dominate quake so far measured 5.5 on the Richter scale, shaking homes and hearts alike.
