The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has launched a new six-month online certificate programme in Data Science and Machine Learning, targeting the growing need for tech-savvy professionals in the digital economy. Commencing on June 29, 2025, the course is aimed at working individuals looking to gain practical knowledge and enhance their capabilities in one of the fastest-evolving sectors. With the global job market increasingly driven by data and automation, this programme offers an opportunity to stay ahead of the curve.

Delivered through live online sessions by IIT Delhi faculty, the course includes training in Python, machine learning algorithms, data handling, and analytical skills. Applicants must be graduates or diploma holders with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics or Statistics at the Class 12 level. The course fee is ₹1,50,000 plus GST. Participants who maintain at least 70% attendance and successfully complete the curriculum will receive a certificate from IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP).
