USA Cricket Board Suspension: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has now taken a tough stance against the United States' cricket board (USAC). In July last year, the ICC issued a 12-month governance notice to USAC, which is set to expire next month. If the board fails to make the necessary leadership changes, the ICC may suspend it. A final decision on this matter is expected to be taken during the ICC's annual meeting next month.

After the conclusion of the T20 World Cup, the ICC had issued the notice to USAC due to poor administration and formed a monitoring committee to oversee the board’s activities.

According to a report by the Times of India, an ICC team recently visited Los Angeles and met with officials from the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee. Officials from both USAC and the monitoring committee were present at the meeting. Sources say that despite repeated warnings, there has been no significant improvement. The ICC has made it clear that changes are necessary, especially in light of cricket's return to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

The ICC has asked some USAC officials to step down. While some are willing to resign, others are still refusing. So far, USAC has not made any official decision, and the ICC has also not issued a public statement. However, it is expected that some officials may resign in the coming days.
