As tensions between India and Pakistan escalate, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has urged citizens to exercise restraint and avoid spreading misinformation. In a post on X Thursday night, Yadav expressed pride in India’s armed forces and called for national unity, saying, “We all stand with the country.” He appealed to the public to stay calm and refrain from sharing unverified news, warning that such content could be part of a deliberate strategy to sow discord.

“This is a time of crisis, which demands even greater wisdom,” Yadav stated in Hindi, urging fellow citizens not to believe or circulate unconfirmed information, which could be part of a plot by the nation's enemies.

He emphasized the importance of individual responsibility, calling on people to remain calm and encourage others to do the same. “Show unity in this time of adversity. Jai Hind!” Yadav concluded.
