Ajay Devgn’s much-anticipated film Son of Sardaar 2 is scheduled to hit theatres on July 25, marking the return of the popular Punjabi action-comedy franchise. The announcement was shared by Devgn himself on social media, where he posted the official film poster revealing the release date. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the sequel follows the story of Jaswinder Singh Randhawa, reprising Devgn’s iconic role from the 2012 original, and promises to bring a blend of humor and action to the big screen.

Produced jointly by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja, Son of Sardaar 2 stars Mrunal Thakur opposite Devgn, with Vindu Dara Singh also joining the cast. The original film, directed by Ashwni Dhir, was a major commercial success and featured prominent actors such as Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and the late Mukul Dev. The storyline centered around Jassi Singh Randhawa, who returns to his ancestral village in Punjab after years in London and finds himself entangled in family and local disputes.
