In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Abhishek Malhan secured his spot as the first finalist by winning a task against Pooja Bhatt. After the ‘Ticket to Finale’ task was canceled, the show introduced Family Week with a unique twist. Each housemate was required to award a star to another contestant they believed had performed exceptionally in the show. The two participants with the most stars would then compete in another task to become finalists.
During the Family Week, Pooja Bhatt received three stars, while Abhishek Malhan obtained two. Other contestants like Bebika Dhurve, Elvish Yadav, and Avinash Sachdev received only one star each. Subsequently, Bigg Boss introduced a task in which Abhishek and Pooja were given a basket, and the other contestants had to collect fruits and offer them to their chosen finalist.
However, the first round of the task was interrupted when Abhishek Malhan and Avinash Sachdev engaged in a physical altercation. As Pooja Bhatt was also unwell, she nominated Jad Hadid as her representative. In the subsequent rounds, Abhishek received significant help from his friends, enabling him to collect more fruits and secure victory. This win not only made him the first finalist of the season but also the last captain of the house.
Pooja Bhatt expressed her disappointment over her defeat and criticized Abhishek’s strategy as unfair. Despite her initial reservations towards Abhishek, she had become friendlier towards him recently, offering him advice on playing the game better. Evicted contestant Aashika Bhatia pointed out this change of heart and revealed how Pooja had been playing the game smartly and instigating others against Manisha.
Fans on social media also expressed similar sentiments, accusing the show’s makers of favoritism by bringing Pooja back and influencing her gameplay. They believe Pooja’s altered behavior was a result of external influence during her brief absence from the house for a medical test.
As the competition intensifies, viewers eagerly await further twists and turns in Bigg Boss OTT 2, as the journey towards the grand finale continues.
