Eijaz Khan, who plays a pivotal role in the film Jawan, has opened up about his experience working with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the movie. Jawan hit theaters today, and fans are eagerly watching it after SRK’s recent blockbuster “Pathaan.”
In an interview, Eijaz Khan expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, emphasizing the actor’s immense warmth and kindness. He stated, “The greatest thing about Shah Rukh is that the amount of love we give him, he gives more in return to each and every individual.” Eijaz Khan went on to describe a touching interaction with SRK on set: “When he comes on set, of course everyone’s in a hurry to start. But when he finishes the shoot, he goes to his van and changes, comes back, and then meets each and every person individually, hugs them, and then leaves. And you feel so special. It’s like your day is made, your month is made, your life is made. ‘Shah Rukh Khan hugged me.’ If he knows something about you, he will ask.”
In Jawan, Eijaz Khan portrays the character of Manish Gaikwad, the brother of the film’s antagonist, Kaalie Gaikwad, played by Vijay Sethupathi.
Jawan was released on September 7th, coinciding with the festival of Janmashtami, in Hindi and dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu. The film is directed by Atlee Kumar, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Varma. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, the movie features Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and others. The cinematography is by G.K Vishnu, with Ruben serving as the editor.
The film’s release has generated significant excitement, with fans celebrating by dancing inside theaters and bursting fireworks outside. In Chennai, fans even offered milk to a giant poster of SRK outside a theater. Jawan is expected to become one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of the year.
