According to the BJP, this act is not only disrespectful but also hurts the sentiments of the entire nation. Party leaders have demanded immediate action and that the responsible individual be punished.

Following the incident, tension gripped the college campus. BJP activists claim that some individuals associated with the Trinamool Congress deliberately engage in such activities to spread hatred in society.
