On September 19, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi plant a Kadamb sapling at his official residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, in New Delhi. The sapling was a personal gift from King Charles III of the United Kingdom, present on the occasion of PM Modi 75th birthday. This gesture was part of PM Modi's environmental campaign titled Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, which encourages to plant tree in tribute to one's mother.
