Uttar Pradesh is gearing up for a grand moment: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, scheduled from September 25 to 29. The annual event aims to elevate UP’s global footprint as a booming investment and trade destination.

This year, Russia joins as the partner country, lending an international edge to business dialogues and cultural exchange. More than 2,500 exhibitors and over 500 international buyers are expected to participate, reflecting the growing momentum of UPITS as a powerful global platform.

In a preparatory review led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, focus was cast on showcasing flagship initiatives like the CM Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan, PM Swanidhi, and the PM Internship Programme underlining youth entrepreneurship and inclusive growth. Exhibitions across departments will spotlight their achievements, while sessions hosted in collaboration with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, IIT-Kanpur, and other industry leaders will dive into topics ranging from electronics and e-commerce to healthcare schemes, One District One Product (ODOP), and the trillion-dollar economy vision.

There will be a special glimpse of the week Khadi-cantered fashion show and the participation of the Padma Award entrepreneurs of Uttar Pradesh, which will bring craftsmanship and apparel to the centre. The Chief Minister laid special emphasis on smooth traffic management, security protocols, convenience of visitors and cleanliness and directed the Gautam Budh city administration to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Overall, UPITS 2025 is being prepared to create a lively confluence of knowledge-interest, rural and urban entrepreneurship, youth empowerment and global access, where education, culture, business and innovation will gather under the same roof.
