My good friend Narendra Global Leaders Wish Modi on 75th Birthday
Leaders from all around the world come forward on social media platforms like X, public addresses and video clips to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi a very happy 75th birthday on September 17, 2025. Among the first was Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who called Modi “my good friend” in his warm message. He also praised the deep friendship between India and Israel, saying together they already achieved so much things.
Italy’s Giorgia Meloni posted a picture with Modi, writing that his strength, determination and leadership is inspiring millions, and she also express hope for continue stronger ties in future. Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon, Bhutan’s Tshering Tobgay, UK’s Rishi Sunak and even Donald Trump also send birthday greetings. Sunak remembered watching the England-India test series and said Modi is a “good friend” of Britain.
Luxon used both English and Hindi in his message (“Kia ora, namaskar, my good friend”) and spoke about India’s long journey to becoming developed country by 2047. Russian President Vladimir Putin also lauded India’s performance in social, economic, scientific and technological field under Modi leadership. From Mauritius to Bhutan, almost all messages include prayers for his good health and his continue service to people.
