Sresan Pharmaceuticals, the company behind the deadly Coldrif syrup, has had its manufacturing license revoked. Authorities cited serious lapses in the company's quality control and highlighted negligence by regulatory officials who failed to inspect the unit since 2022. Two senior drug inspectors in Kancheepuram have been suspended, and the company’s owner, G Ranganathan, was arrested by a Special Investigation Team from Madhya Pradesh.
